Congratulations to the Dunlewey Wellbeing participants
The participants engaged in sessions covering healthy eating on a budget, during which each received a slow cooker as part of the session. They also attended sessions on managing emotions, physical activity with a cheeky ice-cream afterwards , and complementary therapy, with each participant receiving either a massage or reflexology treatment. The programme concluded with a fun and engaging goat yoga session. Working on your Wellbeing should be fun and engaging. Was a wonderful group that blended well
As part of the Dunlewey Wellbeing programme, the participants will have a six-week aftercare programme, during which they will gain experience through various training sessions designed to enhance their skills and build their portfolios for potential employment or personal development. This programme was generously funded by the Homeless Prevention Fund.

Dunlewey Welcomes Health Minister Mike Nesbitt
We were delighted to welcome Mike Nesbitt to Dunlewey Addiction Services, where he met with volunteers and service users to hear about the positive impact of our services and recovery programmes.
During the visit, we were also pleased to receive confirmation that Dunlewey has been awarded Department of Health core funding, helping us continue providing vital support to individuals, families, and communities across Northern Ireland.

Ashton Freel
Fundraiser
In June 2026, Ashton will celebrate 10 months of sobriety and has chosen to mark this incredible milestone by taking on their first ever 10km run. What began as a personal challenge has become something even more meaningful, as Ashton uses this opportunity to give back to Dunlewey Addiction Services - a service that has played a significant role in their recovery journey. Alongside the support of family and friends, Dunlewey has provided ongoing, compassionate care through counselling, regular check-ins, and programmes such as ARCH, helping to build connection and support long-term recovery. To show their appreciation and help others access the same support, Ashton has set a fundraising goal of £1,000 to support Dunlewey in continuing their vital work within the community.
